Still about fasting and how fasting can support body detoxification, Juice fasting is one way that is suggested by someĀ  food combining expertise. According to the expertise, there are only five kinds of fruits that is suggested to be consumed as juice.

Why does it have to be in juice ?

Because by forming fruits into juice, the nutrition of fruits will be easier to digest and absorb. In this case, not much of fiber is in, in some people there might be a constipation. To overcome this problem, a colon hydrotherapy in suggested. But if we consume white water in between juicing, the risk of constipation is handled.

The kinds of fruits that is suggested are papaya, apple, manggo, watermelon, pineapple and lemon (lime)

Choose the fresh and ripe/mature fruits. It doesn’t have to be imported fruits, the closer the fruit planted around, the nutrition quality well be better of our body. And organic fruits will be much better choice.

The kinds of fruits to be consumed in day must be the same. Like for example, if in he first day we consume only papaya juice the whole day, then the next day we may consume only water melon, etc.

This method is chosen to ensure our body has a pH balance. An additional tips from Wied Harry, for lemon/lime, we must squeeze it, then stir the juice into water.

How to consume ?

  • Right after waking up, 1 glass of white water be mixed with 1/2 – 1 lime juice/ lemon juice
  • started from 7 AM, consume 1 glass of fruit juice for every 2 hours. The total amount of juice that is consumed is from 7-8 glass a day
  • In between consuming juice, drink white water as much as we can

important notes :

  • consuming food/drink must not be in hurry. Though it is in form of liquid, water and juice still must be consumed little by little. The hurry consuming makes some digest process miss out. Food that is not processed well will be rotten earlier. While actually, rotten process may only happen in colon.
  • Juice that is consumed must be fresh, so it is not allowed to consume or keep juice for a day in once.
  • Do not postpone consuming fresh-made juice. The nutrition and quality of juice will decrease after 20 minutes, more over if it is let open in spaces.
  • Better not consuming any kinds of medicine during detoxification. Medicine and supplement anyhow has a certain toxic element. But for those who be in certain medical treatment, the use of medicine can be arranged in such a way so that it wont bother detoxification process. It will much suggested to consult with the doctor first.
  • It will be better to keep practicing sport. A light sport like walking, jumping, yoga, taichi or chikung will be very good in soothing blood and lymph circulation.
  • A special treatment like aromatherapy massage or body scrub is allowed.
