Indian Camphorweed Herbs for Waist Pain

This plant is called luntas or sometimes beluntas in Indonesian, or Indian Camphorweed in English. Beluntas (Pluchea indica L. Less.) has a typical scent, with the plant height can reach up to 2m.

Beluntas grows in dry area and needs a lot of direct sunshine.  The flower is small in purple color.

Beluntas contains alkaloid and atsiri oil, and widely used as jamoo ( javanese term to call a certain kind of traditional medication)

According to Javanese traditional medication, beluntas can eliminate body odor by consuming it. As for children, the herbal beluntas can heal intestine disturbance and increasing appetite (10-15 grams leaves mixed in rice/porridge)

Waist paint can also be healed by consuming luntas, we must first braise 5 gr of it’s root into boiling water. The boiled beluntas leaves can also sooth body’s temperate.
